• Adjustable Rotor Speed: Achieve optimal grinding results with a rotor speed that can be precisely set from 2,000–4,000rpm, adjustable in 200rpm intervals. This control allows for tailored processing based on material characteristics and desired fineness.
• Robust Grinding Mechanism: The mill operates through a combination of impact, friction, and shearing forces. Material fed via the funnel enters the grinding chamber, where it is efficiently reduced between the powerful impact plates of the beater and the precision-engineered teeth of the grinding insert.
• High Throughput & Capacity: Capable of handling maximum feed sizes up to 25mm, the Fritsch Cross Beater Mill boasts an impressive maximum throughput of 80L/h, ensuring high productivity for demanding applications.
• Versatile Fineness Control: Achieve final fineness ranging from 120µm to 10mm, depending on the material and the chosen bottom sieve insert. Trapezoidal sieve inserts (available from 120µm–10mm) are ideal for faster milling of medium-hard to soft materials, while round inserts (3–10mm) are best suited for brittle materials requiring medium fineness and uniform particle size.
• Powerful and Safe Operation: Driven by a robust 1.1kW 3-phase motor equipped with essential overload protection, the mill ensures reliable and continuous performance. A critical safety switch immediately stops the rotor should the quick-clamping lock be inadvertently opened, preventing accidents. Units operate efficiently on 200–240V, 50/60Hz power supplies.
• Ease of Maintenance: The grinding insert, cross beater, and bottom sieve are designed for easy removal and cleaning, streamlining maintenance and minimizing downtime.

• Cast Iron Model: Features a grinding insert and cross beater constructed from durable cast iron, complemented by impact plates made of hardened steel for enhanced wear resistance. This configuration is included as the default.
• Stainless Steel Model: For applications requiring inertness or specific material compatibility, this variant includes a grinding insert, cross beater, and impact plates all made from high-quality stainless steel.

Each Fritsch Cross Beater Mill comes complete with a grinding insert, a cross beater, impact plates, and a 5L collecting vessel fitted with a filter hose. Please note that the essential Bottom Sieve Insert must be ordered separately to match your specific application requirements.
