How it Works: The Principle of Pressure and Shearing At the heart of the Classic Disk Mill's performance is its robust grinding mechanism. Material is introduced between two counter-rotating grinding disks: one fixed and one movable. These disks are equipped with interlocking teeth that apply immense pressure and shearing forces. As the material passes through the precisely set grinding gap, it is progressively reduced in size, ensuring a homogeneous final fineness. The ground material then falls into a conveniently located collection drawer.
