Flexible Wall Permeability Test Cells
Designed for testing soil specimens ranging from 1.4in (35.6mm) to 6in (152.4mm) in diameter, these test cells are compatible with the Master Control Panel, Auxiliary Control Panel, and similar systems. They feature durable, heavy-wall clear acrylic chambers with solid machined aluminum bases. Equipped with precision zero-volume change ball valves and robust fittings, the test cells can withstand a maximum operating pressure of 150psi (10.3bar). The internal chamber dimensions are 7.5in x 10.125in (191 x 257mm), dia. x H.
Corrosion-Resistant Design
The Flexible Wall Permeability Cells include stainless steel valves and fittings, offering enhanced resistance to corrosion from harsh permeant fluids.
Sample-Specific Kits
To accommodate different sample sizes, size-specific Test Cell Kits are required and sold separately on the Test Cell Accessories page. Each kit includes:
- One anodized aluminum specimen cap and pedestal
- Two Porous Stones
- Two Latex Membranes
- Four O-Rings
Optional accessories such as the Specimen Height Indicator for Triaxial/Permeability Testing and Digital Pore Pressure Gauge with Transducer are also available.
