Elcometer Narrow Pitch Search Head
Search Heads for Elcometer 331 Series Concrete Cover Meters determine the depth of cover over reinforcement bars. The Standard Search Head meets most cover depth measurement requirements. The Narrow-Pitch Search Head is ideal when the gaps (pitch) between rebar are close together. For cover thickness measurements when rebar is deep within the structure, the Deep Cover Search Head is most accurate.
Narrow-Pitch Search Head also has a sensing area of 4.72 x 2.36in (120 x 60mm). Range for 1.6in (40mm) bar is 0.3–3.1in (8–80mm). Range for 0.3in (8mm) bar is 0.2–2.4in (5–60mm).
Features:
- Easy single-handed use
- Search Head model variations allows accurate detection at varying depths and bar pitch
- High level of accuracy
The Standard Elcometer Search Head allows one-handed operation with all major functions on an integrated keypad. The Standard Elcometer Search Head detects large bars at up to 3.75in (95mm) depth with ±3% accuracy. Smaller bars at shallower depths can be located to ±1mm. You can find all of the concrete testing equipment you need at Certified MTP and browse all of the concrete air entrainment meters as well to ensure safety and quality control.
