The Dynamic Cone Penetrometer Disposable Cones are single-use cones, alternatively used when the Hardened Steel Point would be difficult to extract from the soil. Cones are abandoned in place once penetration measurements are complete. Disposable Cones have a 0.790in (20.1mm) diameter, and taper at a 60° angle to the point. The Disposable Cone Adapter is needed to connect cones to DCP and is sold separately. Available in package of 25 disposable cones.
