The Basic Type K/J Thermometers are pocket-sized digital units that provide fast and accurate temperature readings for a wide range of materials and applications. These thermometers are compatible with both Type K and Type J thermocouples equipped with standard miniature connectors, offering versatility for various testing environments.

The temperature range for this device is extensive. When using a Type K probe, it measures from -328° to 2,498°F (-200° to 1,370°C). With a Type J probe, the range is -328° to 1,922°F (-200° to 1,050°C).

Engineered for precision and convenience, the thermometer features a clear, four-digit LCD that easily switches between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Advanced functions include a Maximum/Minimum memory hold to recall the highest and lowest readings, an auto-power off feature to conserve battery life, and a relative temperature function (ΔT) to measure temperature differences. The device boasts an accuracy of ±0.05% of the reading +0.7°C (1.4°F).
