Made of polypropylene and polycarbonate, these autoclavable desiccators can hold a vacuum up to 740mm Hg for 24 hours without any greasing, ensuring that your samples are safe and secure.
The top dome is molded in transparent PC, providing you with a crystal-clear view of your samples. The knurled knob on the top makes it easy to handle the dome, while the transparent PC bottom enhances viewing clarity. An internal groove on the flange holds the silicon rubber O-ring, maintaining a tight seal that prevents leaks and ensures a secure vacuum.
The desiccator also comes with a perforated PP desiccator plate that makes it easy to store and dry your samples. The PP stopcock has a self-lubricating PTFE plug, making it easy to open and close the plug as needed. The three-way plug opens to create a vacuum, closes to hold a vacuum, and opens again to release a vacuum, making it easy to use and maintain.
This desiccator is highly versatile and can withstand autoclaving at 120° C for 15 minutes, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. With a flange O.D./I.D. of 171/150 mm, a plate O.D. of 138 mm, a height of 204 mm, and maximum clearance above plate of 123 mm, this desiccator can hold even large samples with ease.
