The United Scientific 55217 Desiccator is the perfect tool for laboratory professionals who want to keep their samples dry and safe. Made with polypropylene and polycarbonate, this desiccator is autoclavable at 120°C for 15 minutes, providing you with a durable and long-lasting solution to your sample storage needs.

With the ability to hold a vacuum up to 740mm Hg for 24 hours without any greasing, you can confidently store your most sensitive samples without the risk of contamination. The top dome is molded in rigid and transparent PC, providing a crystal-clear view of your samples, while the knurled knob on the top makes it easy to handle the dome. Additionally, the transparent PC bottom offers increased viewing clarity.

Featuring an internal groove on the flange that holds the silicon rubber O-ring and a perforated PP desiccator plate, this desiccator offers an effective method of drying out and preserving your samples. The PP stopcock has a self-lubricating PTFE plug and a three-way plug that opens to create a vacuum, closes to hold a vacuum, and opens again to release a vacuum.

The United Scientific 55217 Desiccator has a size of 12" / 300mm, a flange O.D. / I.D. of 340 / 300mm, a plate O.D. of 295mm, a height of 405mm, and a maximum clearance above plate of 255mm, making it a spacious solution for all your lab needs.
