Desiccant Cartridge, 6in Desiccators

Desiccant Cartridges and Bags are used with 6, 8, or 10in (152, 203, or 254mm) Desiccators for drying and stabilizing moisture-sensitive samples. The cartridges and bags contain noncorrosive and nontoxic silica gel. All models can be repeatedly reused by regenerating them after they become fully saturated with moisture without the worry of degradation.

The Desiccant Cartridge is designed for 6-inch desiccators and contains 40g of silica gel. With a 2.84in (72mm) diameter, the clear polypropylene casing allows for easy visual monitoring as the silica gel changes from blue to pink when it absorbs moisture. To regenerate, simply place the cartridge in a 122°F (50°C) oven overnight or a 212°F (100°C) oven for six hours.
