FLOOR-TOP STG is a high performance self-leveling floor topping and underlayment designed to smooth and level concrete and rigid-based interior substrates. It’s high compressive strength and surface abrasion resistance make it perfect for foot and light rubber-wheeled traffic areas. One of the biggest advantages of FLOOR-TOP STG is fast-track installation which means quick turnaround times and less downtime so your projects stay on schedule.
This floor topping can be installed up to 1/8″ (3.17 mm) thick so it’s perfect for under resilient floor coverings. Available in 50 lb. (22.7 kg) bags it’s easy to transport and store on the job site. FLOOR-TOP STG can also be color enhanced with integral colors, dyes, coatings, sealers or acid stains so you can get the look you want for your floors. Surface Preparation and Application
Proper surface preparation is key to a successful FLOOR-TOP STG installation. Follow these steps:

Repair the subfloor with MEADOW-CRETE or MEADOW-PATCH from W. R. MEADOWS at least 24 hours before applying FLOOR-TOP STG.

Extend existing control and expansion joints through the FLOOR-TOP STG layer.

Fill all non-moving, dry cracks with REZI-WELD LV from W. R. MEADOWS before applying FLOOR-TOP STG.

Follow the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) Technical Guideline #310.2-1997 for existing concrete surface preparation for sealers, coatings and polymer overlays.

Mechanically roughen or high-pressure water-jet the existing concrete mix to a minimum concrete surface profile (CSP) of CSP-4 or higher.

Remove all unsound existing concrete and profile the surface.

Ensure the substrate is structurally sound, clean, free of grease, oil, dirt, curing compounds, release agents or any other contaminants that would affect the bond.

FLOOR-TOP STG has a 12 month shelf life from date of manufacture if stored in unopened, original packaging. Each 50 lb. (22.7 kg) bag will cover approximately 0.50 ft.³ (0.014 m³) so you can easily calculate how much you’ll need for your project. Application temperature range is 65° to 85° F (18.3° to 35°C) and relative humidity 35% to 75%.
