The Dayton Clean Strip J1EF is a water based form release agent for use on all concrete forms and form surfaces, high density plywood, aluminum, steel, fiberglass and urethane. This product works on all types of concrete forming materials and form liners. Coverage rate is approximately 600-1500 sq ft/gal depending on form surface porosity. For best results apply by spray application using a sprayer with a 0.1 GPM nozzle. This will give you even distribution of the release agent on the form and maximize coverage and effectiveness. Product is V.O.C. compliant with a V.O.C. content of less than 250 g/L and is suitable for use in areas with strict V.O.C. regulations such as California. As a water based form release it’s user friendly and environmentally responsible.

To maintain product integrity store in a cool dry place away from freezing temperatures. Shelf life is one year under proper storage conditions. Troubleshooting

For projects requiring effective joint solutions, consider using a concrete expansion joint filler such as Sure Fil J52. If you need a fast-setting solution for concrete repair, the Dayton Jet Set Recrete Light 20 Minute is an excellent option. To prevent these problems always make sure the form release agent is applied evenly and thoroughly to the entire form, especially corners and edges.

If you get sticking, you may need to reapply the product or switch to a different form release agent that’s better suited for your form material. Holes from bug can be minimized by making sure the form surface is free of dust or debris before application. Properly applied the release agent should allow for easy removal of the form without voids or imperfections on the concrete.

Note: This product is not for use on rubber or silicone stamps and may not work on these surfaces. If the release agent is not performing as expected try adjusting the application rate or method.
