Cement Autoclave, High-Pressure

Supports the following standards: AASHTO T107

Uses accelerated means of estimating delayed expansion of Portland cement caused by hydration of CaO and MgO. This is done by determining the volume constancy of mortar prism samples. Test bars are exposed to high-pressure steam compartment, which accepts a sample holder for 8 prisms per ASTM, 1" x 1" x 11.25" (25 x 25 x 285mm) and 6 prisms as per the DIN standard, 40 x 40 x 160mm. Unit has a capacity of 7.8 liters, a max pressure of 360 psi (25 bar) and a max temperature of 482°F (250°C).

Includes two gauges, one for temperature and one for pressure and a safety pop valve for safety. Also includes security test certificate for pressure chamber in accordance with EN pressure device directive.

The 120V 60Hz version of this autoclave comes with an auxillary voltage converter, which is included. Overall dimensions: 20.5 dia" x 44" (550 dia x 1120)

Gage Studs for Mortar Bars are required for use with the cement prism molds.

The Cement Autoclave, High-Pressure is a versatile piece of equipment that supports the AASHTO T107 standards. It is specifically designed to estimate the delayed expansion of Portland cement caused by the hydration of CaO and MgO. This is achieved by determining the volume constancy of mortar prism samples.

The high-pressure steam compartment of the autoclave exposes test bars to accelerated conditions, allowing for efficient and accurate testing. The compartment can accommodate up to 8 prisms per ASTM, measuring 1" x 1" x 11.25" (25 x 25 x 285mm), or 6 prisms according to the DIN standard, measuring 40 x 40 x 160mm. With a capacity of 7.8 liters, a maximum pressure of 360 psi (25 bar), and a maximum temperature of 482°F (250°C), this autoclave ensures reliable and consistent results.

To ensure safety and proper functionality, the Cement Autoclave, High-Pressure includes two gauges – one for temperature and one for pressure. It also features a safety pop valve that releases excess pressure when necessary. Additionally, a security test certificate for the pressure chamber is provided, guaranteeing compliance with the EN pressure device directive.

For convenience, the 120V 60Hz version of the autoclave comes with an auxiliary voltage converter, eliminating the need for separate equipment. The overall dimensions of the autoclave are 20.5" in diameter and 44" in height (550mm in diameter and 1120mm in height).

To fully utilize the Cement Autoclave, High-Pressure, Gage Studs for Mortar Bars are required. These can be purchased separately and are used in conjunction with the cement prism molds, enabling efficient and precise testing.

In addition to this product, Certified MTP offers a wide range of cement test equipment to meet all your testing needs.
