Cast-Iron Concrete Cylinder Molds are heavy castings, built to exact dimensions and serial numbered for long term repeated use. These molds are available in disposable and single use options. They can be made from plastic and steel to fit your testing needs. Plastic concrete cylinder molds are the tool of choice for making standard test specimens, meet industry standards such as ASTM and AASHTO and have moisture retention and dimensional accuracy. Sidewalls are 0.25in (6.4mm) thick with 0.5in (12.7mm) molded in ribs to resist defective under rough use; the mold base is 0.75in (19mm) thick. The mold is easy to assemble with toggle bolts and large wing nuts to hold pieces together and can be disassembled for stripping and cleaning. Joints are tight and can be greased for a weather tight seal.
