AMETEK Brookfield Viscosity Standards offer ±1% accuracy of the stated viscosity and are certified with methods traceable to the United States National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Typically, selecting one or two fluids is enough to verify the calibration of your instrument. CAP Oil Fluids are available in 150 mL (4 oz) containers and are designed specifically for use with CAP Instruments.
To ensure proper use:
- Identify whether the viscometer is High Torque or Low Torque.
- Confirm the temperature model: Low Temperature (5°C-75°C) or High Temperature (50°C-235°C).
