These solid brass sieves are 8” in diameter and are the same type of sieves used by laboratories and Universities for particle size analysis. A sieve shaker can make particle size analysis so much easier.
Great for sand particle size. Good for checking topdressing sands, measuring sand trap sands and a must for construction. Soil testing is important in construction to ensure the ground is stable and suitable.
The Brass Sieve Set comes with a full USGA breakdown with six, 8” diameter sieves that stack together with the below diameter mesh screens.
The sieves are in sequential order from largest to smallest so you can get a full particle size breakdown.
