The Automatic Soil Processor streamlines soil sample preparation, saving technicians time and effort by automating tedious tasks. Designed to meet ASTM and AASHTO specifications for moisture/density (Proctor) and other tests, this machine simplifies the handling of large soil quantities, making the process faster and more efficient.

With a capacity to process up to 40lb (18kg) of cohesive soil in just 15 minutes, the processor works seamlessly with fat or lean clays and wet soils. Using a replaceable No.4 screen and SC-3 pan, the system ensures quick and accurate preparation. Simply load the soil onto the lower screen, close the weighted lid, and activate the processor. The combination of vertical pressure from the lid and the back-and-forth motion of the screen tray processes the soil evenly without grinding or damaging particle integrity. The cycle automatically stops when the lid is 1/4in (6mm) from the screen, signaling the end of processing.

Powered by air-operated technology, the processor is dependable, low-maintenance, and easy to clean. The integrated air hose keeps the screen spotless with minimal effort. For operations with high sample volumes, additional pans are available and can be stored directly in the cabinet. Optional screen inserts in different sizes are also offered.

The unit operates with a compressed air source (minimum 60psi at 9CFM) and a 120V, 60Hz electrical supply.
