Sub-Slab Gas Vapor Probe Tamper-Resistant Kit

Sub-Slab Gas Vapor Probe Kits are designed to sample volatile organic compounds (VOCs) beneath floor slabs during vapor intrusion investigations. These kits provide a semi-permanent probe, allowing for repeated sampling over time to evaluate the potential for contaminated vapor intrusion under a building’s floor slab.

Sub-Slab GVP Tamper-Resistant Kit includes all the components of the Basic Kit, with the added benefit of a screw-in top cap for protection against vandalism or unauthorized use of the sampling point.

This feature is especially useful for sites in high-traffic areas or where security is a concern.

The kit includes a stainless steel probe with an inner diameter of 3/4 inch and a length of 12 inches. The probe is attached to a Teflon-lined sampling hose, allowing for easy extraction of the collected vapors. It also includes a custom-made handle that provides a secure grip for inserting and removing the probe from the ground.

In addition to the probe and sampling hose, the kit comes with installation instructions, disposable moisture purging filters, and tamper-resistant locking hardware. These components ensure proper installation and maintenance of the sub-slab GVP system.
