Constant/Falling Head Permeability Test Set

This test set is designed to measure the permeability of granular soils using either constant-head or falling-head methods. Available in sizes from 2.5 to 9.0 inches (6.3–22.8 mm) in diameter, it accommodates a variety of particle size ranges for granular soil testing. The clear acrylic sample chamber allows for easy observation during testing, though chambers do not include sidewall ports. While more affordable, these sets do not fully meet ASTM/AASHTO standards.

Each set includes a clear acrylic chamber, compression spring, anodized aluminum end caps with valves and ports, and necessary tubing. The 6.0 and 9.0-inch models come with perforated plates for the specimen's top and bottom, while smaller sizes include two porous stones. A Single-Tube Manometer with a Constant Head Reservoir is required and comes with all permeameter test sets.
