Constant/Falling Head Permeability Test Set provides reliable testing for the permeability of granular soil samples using either constant-head or falling-head methods. Available in sizes ranging from 2.5 to 9.0 inches (6.3 to 22.8 mm) in diameter, these test sets are designed to accommodate a wide range of granular soil particle sizes. The clear acrylic sample chamber allows for easy observation during testing. Note that these chambers do not include sidewall ports and are a more cost-effective option but do not fully comply with ASTM/AASHTO standards.

Each set includes a clear acrylic chamber, compression spring, and anodized aluminum end caps with valves and ports, along with the necessary tubing. The 6.0 and 9.0-inch models feature perforated plates for placement on the top and bottom of the specimen, while smaller models include two porous stones. A Single-Tube Manometer with a Constant Head Reservoir is required for operation and is included with the test set.
