Built from durable anodized aluminum with a corrosion-resistant Teflon® finish, these boxes are available in square or round designs with both inch and metric size options. Each Shear Box includes two Porous Stones for precise testing.

This square Shear Box is designed for use with Karol-Warner Dead-Weight Direct or Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines to evaluate soil specimens' direct and residual shear strength. Its horizontally divided design ensures effective application of opposing shear forces. Constructed from anodized aluminum with a Teflon® finish, it includes a top and bottom Porous Stone and a Loading Ball for reliable performance.
