60mm Diameter Shear Box

Shear Boxes are designed for testing the direct or residual shear strength of soil specimens using Karol-Warner Dead-Weight and Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. These horizontally divided boxes are available in both inch and metric sizes, with round or square designs. Constructed from anodized aluminum and finished with Teflon® for corrosion resistance, each box also includes two porous stones.

60mm (2.36in) Shear Box features a round design ideal for testing soil specimens in direct and residual shear strength applications with Karol-Warner Dead-Weight Direct or Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. The horizontally divided design enables the application of opposing shear forces to the specimen. Made of anodized aluminum with a Teflon® finish, this durable shear box comes with a top and bottom porous stone and a loading ball.
