50mm Floating Ring Consolidometer

50mm (1.97in) Floating-Ring Consolidometer by Karol-Warner is designed for use with Karol-Warner and other manufacturers' consolidation load frames. Its unique floating-ring design ensures loads are applied to both the top and bottom of the soil sample, as the sample ring is detached from the base and supported by the specimen's friction. The unit features a durable stainless steel base with an attached transparent acrylic inundation ring. It includes a stainless steel sample ring with a cutting edge, a load pad, a load-bearing ball, and top and bottom porous stones. Replacement components are available separately. The consolidometer is compatible with most testing units.
