50mm Diameter Shear Box

Shear Boxes are designed for testing the direct and residual shear strength of soil specimens using Karol-Warner Dead-Weight and Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. These horizontally divided boxes are available in both round and square shapes, with options in inch or metric sizes. Constructed from anodized aluminum with a Teflon® finish, they are corrosion-resistant and durable. Each box includes two Porous Stones for use during testing.

This round Shear Box is ideal for testing soil specimens for direct and residual shear strength with Karol-Warner Dead-Weight Direct or Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. The horizontally divided design allows for the application of opposing shear forces. Made from anodized aluminum with a Teflon® finish, it resists corrosion and includes a top and bottom Porous Stone along with a Loading Ball for precise testing.
