They are available in capacities from 500 to 20,000 lbf (2.2 to 89 kN) and include a four-wire cable for connection to two-channel or four-channel data readout devices (sold separately). These load cells feature top and bottom threaded mounting holes for versatile setup.

Applications:

• Compression Tests: Mounted between the load frame and test apparatus or penetration piston for tests like unconfined compression or CBR/LBR.
• Direct Shear Tests: Measure both tension and compression by mounting between the shear box and the loading frame's fixed point.
• Other Tests: Suitable for triaxial shear, Marshall stability, indirect tensile, Lottman, SCB, and similar tests requiring uniform contact between the load cell and fixtures.
