Basic Concrete Compression Machines offer an affordable and versatile solution for testing concrete strength. Designed for manual operation, these machines are capable of testing a variety of sample types, including cylinders, beams, cubes, cores, and grout prisms, making them suitable for diverse applications.

Built with a durable welded steel frame and solid crossheads, the machines exceed ACI 363 standards for rigidity. An integrated electric motor and variable-speed hydraulic pump ensure precise pressure control, minimize heat buildup, and extend the lifespan of hydraulic components.

The advanced Windows-based human-machine interface (HMI) controller simplifies test setup, displays real-time graphs (load vs. time, stress vs. strain), and records key metrics like force and stress. Operators can easily transfer or print results post-testing. For additional convenience, the machines are compatible with the Gilson Guardian Cloud Sharing Application (sold separately), enabling cloud storage, collaboration, and record retention.

Operation is simple: a four-position lever valve allows for an initial preload and precise load control. The controller automatically records the maximum compressive strength when the load drops below a preset threshold. Safety is emphasized with features like a hydraulic relief valve to prevent overloads, a travel limit switch to stop piston overextension, and Lexan™ fragment doors that securely latch while providing clear visibility of the sample.

Each unit is ready to test 6x12in (152.4x304.8mm) concrete cylinders with user-supplied neoprene capping pads and steel retainers. Optional accessories can be added to accommodate other sample types, such as beams, cubes, cores, and grout prisms.
