The 2.42in Fixed Ring Consolidometer is designed for precise laboratory soil consolidation testing with Karol-Warner or other Consolidation Load Frames. It features a durable stainless steel base with an attached clear acrylic inundation ring, allowing easy observation during testing. The specimen is loaded from the top while the sample ring remains fixed at the base.

The consolidometer includes a 1in (25.4mm) high stainless steel cutting sample ring with sharp edges for efficient sample preparation. Clamping rings with lifting knobs make it simple to remove the sample after testing. Additional components include a loading pad, top and bottom porous stones, an acrylic inundation ring, and a load-bearing ball. All parts are available separately and are compatible with most major manufacturers' equipment.
