This Porous Stone measures 2.36in (59.9mm) in diameter and 0.50in (12.7mm) thick, made from durable aluminum oxide material. Designed for geotechnical testing, it supports cylindrical soil samples while enabling two-way fluid flow.

We offer a full range of Porous Stones for laboratory geotechnical testing applications, including triaxial shear, permeability, direct shear, consolidation, and more. These stones allow water and other permeants to flow freely while preventing fine particles from entering the test system. High-quality stones feature a permeability range of 15-18ft³ (424-510L) of air per square foot and an average pore size of 179μm. All porous stones are ready for immediate shipment.
