Shear Boxes are designed to test the direct and residual shear strength of soil samples using Karol-Warner Dead-Weight and Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. These boxes are horizontally divided for precise testing and come in a variety of sizes (inch and metric), with both round and square options. Constructed from durable anodized aluminum and coated with a corrosion-resistant Teflon® finish, each box includes two Porous Stones for effective testing.

This round Shear Box is perfect for testing soil samples for direct and residual shear strength with Karol-Warner Direct Shear Machines. Its horizontally divided design enables the application of opposing shear forces on the sample. Made from anodized aluminum with a Teflon® finish, it resists corrosion and includes top and bottom Porous Stones along with a Loading Ball for optimal performance.
