100mm Shear Box, Square

Shear Boxes are designed for testing the direct and residual shear strength of soil specimens, compatible with Karol-Warner Dead-Weight and Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. These horizontally divided boxes come in various inch and metric sizes, available in round or square shapes. Constructed from anodized aluminum with a Teflon® finish, they are durable and corrosion-resistant. Each box includes two Porous Stones.

The 100mm (3.94in) Shear Box features a square design and is ideal for direct and residual shear strength tests using Karol-Warner Dead-Weight Direct or Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. Its horizontal division allows for the application of opposing shear forces on the soil specimen. Made from anodized aluminum with a protective Teflon® finish, it includes a top and bottom Porous Stone along with a Loading Ball.
