Features and Specifications of Graduated Cylinders
Our graduated cylinders are packed with features that make them perfect for laboratory use. Each graduated cylinder boasts a hexagonal base, providing exceptional stability and minimizing the risk of tipping over. The large, molded graduations are easy to read, ensuring precise measurements every time. The design also accounts for the meniscus, ensuring accurate readings. With a convenient pour spout, you can pour liquids with control and ease. Made from high-quality materials like polypropylene and glass, these graduated cylinders offer excellent chemical compatibility and are calibrated to meet international standards for accuracy. Available in various sizes, including the 100 ml option with 1.0 ml graduations, our graduated cylinders are designed to meet all your measurement needs.
Uses and Applications of Graduated Cylinders
Graduated cylinders are essential in a wide range of laboratory applications, from chemical analysis to biological testing, due to their chemical resistance. Their ability to measure liquid volumesaccurately makes them indispensable in fields such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and the food and beverage industry. The meniscus must be read at eye level to ensure accurate measurements. Our graduated cylinders are designed to provide reliable measurements, ensuring that laboratory professionals can perform their tasks with confidence and precision.
Safety and Handling
Safety and ease of handling are paramount when using our graduated cylinders. The hexagonal base design enhances stability, significantly reducing the risk of spills and accidents. These graduated cylinders are also easy to clean and sterilize, and their chemical resistance makes them ideal for repeated use in laboratory environments. However, it is crucial to handle them with care to avoid damage from drops or extreme temperatures. By following proper handling procedures, you can ensure the longevity and reliability of your graduated cylinders.
