Whitehouse Sieve Standards provide a fast, reliable way to calibrate No.6 (3.35mm) and finer sieves with full traceability to NIST. The calibration process takes just minutes, allowing you to avoid shipping sieves off-site or taking them out of service. Regular calibration ensures you know when it’s time to replace your sieves. Each kit includes five single-use vials of precision glass beads, specifically designed for a particular sieve size. One vial is sufficient for 8in or 200mm sieves, while larger sieves (up to 18in or 450mm) may require two to five vials. After testing, quickly determine the average aperture using the provided calibration graph.

Whitehouse is recognized by the Community Bureau of Reference (BCR) for developing standards within the European Community, with traceability to NIST, NPL, and BCR. The beads are made of highly spherical soda-lime glass (specific gravity 2.45) and certified for size using electroformed sieves, microscopy, and image analysis.
