These 8-inch diameter brass frames are expertly designed for use with disposable Polyester or Nylon monofilament mesh cloths, available in opening sizes from No. 100 (212µm) down to 7µm.
The innovative two-part design allows for quick and easy mesh replacement without the need for any tools, fasteners, or screws. The disposable cloth is simply placed between the sieve frame and the skirt, and the two parts are pressed together, creating a taut, sealed fit. This system significantly reduces maintenance time and, more importantly, eliminates the risk of cross-contamination between samples—a critical factor for ensuring accurate and repeatable results.
Constructed from durable brass, these frames are built for a long service life and can withstand rigorous daily use. They are designed to nest seamlessly with each other and are also compatible with conventional 8in (203mm) diameter standard test sieves, allowing for easy integration into your existing lab equipment setup.
For added versatility, an optional 10in Polyethylene Film Square can be used with two frames to create a makeshift pan, further enhancing the system's utility.
