Triaxial Test Cells for 6.0in (152.4mm) specimens deliver high performance when paired with the Master Control Panel, Auxiliary Control Panel, or compatible equipment from other manufacturers. Designed for efficient triaxial soil testing, they also perform well in asphalt permeability testing.

Built for durability, the test cells feature valves and fittings made of brass or stainless steel for long-lasting performance, with machined aluminum bases to handle heavy loads. The chamber is constructed with a heavy-wall design using clear acrylic or aluminum, measuring 9.625 x 18in (244.5 x 457mm). The polished stainless steel, precision-ground load piston includes internally lubricated, sealed U-cup and nylon sleeve bearings, ensuring minimal friction. Zero-volume change ball valves provide precision, and standard models operate at a maximum pressure of 100psi (6.9 bar), while high-pressure models handle up to 250psi (17.2 bar).

Triaxial Cell models with stainless steel valves and fittings offer corrosion resistance, ideal for use with harsh permeant fluids.

The Triaxial Test Cell Kit, available separately, includes all necessary components for testing 6in (152.4mm) specimens. The kit contains an anodized aluminum cap and pedestal, two porous stones, two latex membranes, and four O-rings. A 1.5-gallon Deairing Tank is also recommended for optimal use and is sold separately.
