The analog dial indicator measures in metric units, with 0.002mm graduations, a maximum travel range of 10mm, and a strain measurement range of 7.6mm. An optional digital indicator is available for enhanced usability and precision.

The included wooden storage case provides organized storage and protection for all components, including the required Invar Master Bar and Punch Bar (sold separately, available in Imperial or Metric models). The Invar Master Bar features stainless steel seat inserts to maintain accurate gauge spacing, while the Punch Bar has a fixed point and a moveable point for precise positioning of brass inserts in the test specimen. These components ensure operational accuracy and ease of use.
