Invar Master Bar for Strain Gauge Set (U.S. Units)

Invar Master Bar is required for verifying the calibration of the Strain Gauge. Models are available for use with the U.S. or Metric units of measure Strain Gauge Sets. The bar is made of Invar nickel-iron alloy with a very low coefficient of thermal expansion. Threaded stainless steel inserts with 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10in or 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25cm spacing are used to verify gauge spacing.

Features:

  • Invar nickel-iron alloy has exceptional thermal stability
  • Stainless steel inserts to verify gauge spacing

Strain Gauge Set Test Methods

This Strain Gauge Set meets the following test methods:

Accessories to Strain Gauge Set Test:

  • Invar Master Bar checks space settings of gauge and is available in Imperial or Metric. It is required to verify calibration of the Strain Gauge
  • Strain Gauge Punch Bar provides accuracy to locate the brass inserts in the specimen and is available in Imperial or Metric. It is required for use with the Strain Gauge Set
  • Strain Gauge Contact Point is hardened steel, mounts in Strain Gauge frame, and is positioned in Contact Seats when measuring strain

The Invar Master Bar for Strain Gauge Set (U.S. Units) is an essential tool for verifying the calibration of the Strain Gauge Set. This bar is specifically designed to be used with the U.S. units of measure Strain Gauge Sets.

Crafted from Invar nickel-iron alloy, the Invar Master Bar offers exceptional thermal stability, ensuring accurate measurements even in fluctuating temperatures. The low coefficient of thermal expansion of the alloy guarantees that the bar remains dimensionally stable, providing reliable calibration verification.

To facilitate easy and convenient gauge spacing verification, the Invar Master Bar features threaded stainless steel inserts. These inserts, with spacing options of 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10in or 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25cm, can be securely threaded into the bar, allowing for precise measurements.

This Strain Gauge Set meets the stringent test methods outlined in ASTM C341 and ASTM C426 standards for cement testing. By using the Invar Master Bar during the testing process, you can ensure accurate and reliable results.

In addition to the Invar Master Bar, there are several other accessories that complement the Strain Gauge Set test. The Strain Gauge Punch Bar offers accuracy in locating the brass inserts in the specimen and is available in Imperial or Metric units. The Strain Gauge Contact Seat, made of stainless steel, is threaded into the Brass Inserts for measurements. The Strain Gauge Brass Inserts mount in the test specimen and securely hold the threaded Contact Seats. Finally, the Strain Gauge Contact Point, made of hardened steel, is mounted in the Strain Gauge frame and positioned in the Contact Seats for measuring strain.
