Heavy Duty Steel Column Form for Concrete Forming, 32in Dia X 1ft
Deslauriers Heavy Duty Steel Column forms develop an exceptionally smooth, hard surface remarkably free of voids and with a minimum number of indistinct seams. The forms are galvanized constant radius steel half round sections and quarter round sections (for forms over 48" in diameter) bolted into units for crane handling on the jobsite.
Vertical and horizontal seams, opened and closed with each pour, are connected with high speed bolts to speed setting and stripping.
In addition to the standard column diameters shown, custom diameters and lengths are also available.
Lateral pressure should not exceed 3000 PSF on forms through 36" diameter or 2000 PSF on forms over 36" diameter.
Built-in 1-1/2" lifting holes on most 4ft and 8ft forms. Lifting design of 4000 pound per hole or 8000 pounds assembled. Deslauriers recommends using lifting spreader bar for lifting all column forms.
The Heavy Duty Steel Column Form for Concrete Forming is a high-quality and durable solution for creating smooth and strong concrete columns. These column forms are designed to provide an exceptionally smooth surface, free of any voids or indistinct seams.
Made from galvanized constant radius steel, the forms come in half round sections and quarter round sections (for forms over 48" in diameter), which are bolted together for easy handling using a crane on the job site. The vertical and horizontal seams of the forms can be opened and closed with high-speed bolts, allowing for quick setting and stripping.
In addition to the standard column diameters available, custom diameters and lengths can also be ordered to suit specific project requirements. However, it is important to note that the lateral pressure on the forms should not exceed 3000 PSF for forms up to 36" diameter or 2000 PSF for forms over 36" diameter to ensure proper functionality.
The forms are equipped with built-in 1-1/2" lifting holes on most 4ft and 8ft forms, allowing for easy lifting and transportation. Each lifting hole has a lifting design capacity of 4000 pounds individually or 8000 pounds when assembled. To ensure safe lifting, Deslauriers recommends using a lifting spreader bar for all column forms.
For further assistance and guidance, Deslauriers provides a comprehensive forming manual and a list of standard rental forms in PDF format, which can be accessed through the provided links. Additionally, a full line of concrete forming accessories and concrete tremie pipe products can also be found on their website.
