Heavy Duty Steel Column Form for Concrete Forming, 30in Dia X 8ft
Deslauriers Heavy Duty Steel Column forms develop an exceptionally smooth, hard surface remarkably free of voids and with a minimum number of indistinct seams. The forms are galvanized constant radius steel half round sections and quarter round sections (for forms over 48" in diameter) bolted into units for crane handling on the jobsite.
Vertical and horizontal seams, opened and closed with each pour, are connected with high speed bolts to speed setting and stripping.
In addition to the standard column diameters shown, custom diameters and lengths are also available.
Lateral pressure should not exceed 3000 PSF on forms through 36" diameter or 2000 PSF on forms over 36" diameter.
Built-in 1-1/2" lifting holes on most 4ft and 8ft forms. Lifting design of 4000 pound per hole or 8000 pounds assembled. Deslauriers recommends using lifting spreader bar for lifting all column forms.
The Heavy Duty Steel Column Form for Concrete Forming, 30in Dia X 8ft, offered by Deslauriers, is a top-of-the-line solution for creating flawless, durable concrete columns. This column form is designed to produce a smooth, hard surface with minimal voids and indistinct seams, ensuring excellent structural integrity.
The forms are made from galvanized constant radius steel half round sections and quarter round sections (for forms over 48" in diameter), bolted into units for easy handling on the construction site. They can be quickly connected and disconnected using high-speed bolts, which facilitates efficient setting and stripping.
While the product comes in standard column diameters, Deslauriers also offers custom diameters and lengths to meet specific project requirements. The versatility of these column forms allows for greater flexibility in construction design and ensures a perfect fit for any project.
It is important to note that the lateral pressure applied should not exceed 3000 pounds per square foot (PSF) for forms up to 36" in diameter and 2000 PSF for larger forms. This ensures the longevity and stability of the column form.
To ease the lifting process, most 4ft and 8ft column forms are equipped with built-in 1-1/2" lifting holes. These forms have a lifting design that can support up to 4000 pounds per hole or 8000 pounds when assembled. However, it is recommended to use a lifting spreader bar for all column form lifting operations to ensure the safety of workers and the integrity of the form.
For further guidance and detailed information, Deslauriers provides a Forming Manual and a List of Standard Rental Forms, both available for download on their website. Additionally, they offer a vast range of Concrete Forming items and Concrete Tremie Pipe and Products to meet all your construction needs.
Invest in the Heavy Duty Steel Column Form for Concrete Forming, 30in Dia X 8ft, and experience the durability, precision, and ease of use that Deslauriers products are known for.
