SRX Leachate Pump Bottom Loading Standard

TR-974 SRX Leachate Pump (LP) - Bottom Loading - Standard (39-inch length) | DGSI Slope Indicator Submersible Pumps

The SRX LP is a proven pump based on a simple, innovative design and built with field-tested components. Plus, it has more features like improved level sensing. Result: a pump that can handle the harsh environment.

  • The SRX is an air-powered pump to extract leachate or gas condensate at variable rates equal to the well recharge.

  • Pump flow rates up to 9.5 gpm and temperatures up to 250°F. The patented design draws leachate over the motor to cool it, so it lasts and is reliable in harsh environments.

  • In wells under vacuum with the pump exhaust vented outside the well seal, the SRX pump can maintain the normal draw-down level when the air-exhaust line is equipped with the optional “E”-valve (part # TR-697) below the well seal. The motor design is durable and efficient to reduce maintenance needs.

Leachate Pumping and Management

Leachate pumping and management are key components of landfill operations. Leachate is a toxic liquid that forms when rainwater and waste moisture mix, and is a major environmental and health risk if not handled properly. Effective leachate management involves collection, treatment and disposal of leachate to prevent soil contamination. Owners and operators must have reliable and efficient leachate pumping systems to operational costs and comply with environmental regulations. By using advanced components and systems, landfill operators can manage this hazardous liquid and protect the environment and public health.

Solutions

Pump system solutions for landfill leachate and condensate management are designed to provide efficient and cost effective management of landfill liquids. These solutions operational costs, reduce maintenance and ensure reliablility. Systems for landfill leachate and condensate management can be customized to meet specific site requirements, including vertical sump applications, side slope riser applications and horizontal installations. Industry leaders in landfill leachate pumping solutions offer a range of products and services including pumps, motors, controls and accessories to ensure superior performance and reliability. By using these advanced systems, landfill operators can achieve optimal performance and long life in their leachate management processes.

Remote Monitoring and Control

Remote monitoring and control systems for leachate pumping systems allow owners and operators to monitor and control their pump systems in real-time, reducing the need for on-site visits and minimizing downtime. These systems provide real-time data on liquid levels, flow rates and pump performance so issues can be identified and resolved quickly. Remote monitoring and control systems can be integrated with existing pump systems and can be accessed via web-based platforms or mobile apps for flexibility and convenience. This technology ensures landfill operators can manage leachate efficiently and reliably even from remote locations.

Operator Safety and Maintenance

Operator safety and maintenance are key considerations in landfill leachate pumping. Owners and operators must ensure their pump systems are designed and installed with operator safety in mind including easy installation and maintenance. Regular maintenance is crucial to ensure pump systems are reliable and long lasting and operators must be trained to perform routine maintenance tasks such as checking liquid levels, inspecting pumps and motors and performing routine clean and maintenance tasks. By prioritizing operator safety and maintenance landfill owners and operators can minimize downtime, reduce operational costs and comply with environmental regulations. This proactive approach not only improves leachate management but also protects the operators and the environment.
