The 4" Standard Proctor Density/Moisture Split Mold holds a volume of 1/30 cu. ft. it is made from cold-rolled steel tubing and plated for rust resistance. Includes detachable base plate, studs and wing nuts. Mold has vertical split in body with 2 quick-acting clamps for easy removal of specimen. It may be used with the Automatic Mechanical Soil Compactors and with manual soil compactors.
Mold is 4" ID x 4.584" H with 2-1/2" detachable collar. This split type mold separates longitudinally for easy sample removal.
