Original Schmidt Concrete Test Hammer, Type N
Original Schmidt Concrete Test Hammer is the classic analog rebound hammer known for its accuracy, repeatability, and reliability. It provides a rapid, non-destructive method for compressive strength estimates of hardened concrete, concrete uniformity determinations, and assessment of rock hardness. The Type N test hammer is the most widely known and cost-effective method to assess the strength, integrity, and uniformity of concrete structures. Designed for testing concrete 4in (100mm) or more in thickness. See HM-75L Original Schmidt Hammer, Type L for a model with an impact energy of 0.735Nm (0.54ft-lbf) for improved repeatability and reduced damage to concrete with cross-sections less than 4in (100mm) thick.
Features:
- Time-tested, Swiss-made design
- Impact energy of 2.207Nm (1.63ft-lbf)
- Effective on concrete with compressive strengths from 1,450 to 10,152psi (10 to 70MPa)
- Reliable means of evaluating the condition of hardened concrete in-place
