Saybolt Viscosity Bath is a state-of-the-art instrument designed for precise viscosity determinations of petroleum liquids. Housed in a steel cabinet, the bath has an insulated bath interior for optimal temperature uniformity and energy efficiency. Chemical resistant top plate and alignment plate for durable and stable testing and easy centering of receiving flasks for accurate results.

Designed for convenience and safety, the Saybolt Viscosity Bath has a drain valve and built-in overflow pipe for easy filling and emptying of bath medium. Recommended bath medium is tap water or refrigerated coolant, operating at near ambient temperatures and quick temperature stabilization. Built-in cooling coil for easy temperature control across full operating range of ambient to 464°F (240°C).

Precise temperature control through PID controller and dual digital displays for easy setting and monitoring of bath temperatures. The system maintains temperature stability of ±0.05°F (±0.03°C) for reliable and repeatable viscosity measurements. 5-gallon (19L) capacity and heavy-gauge stainless steel construction for chemical resistance and long-term durability for frequent laboratory use.
