The high-strength Roalox Grinding Jar has four times the wear life of ordinary porcelain and offers reduced levels of silica contamination. The jar has a wide mouth for fast loading and cleaning. Jar lids have a neoprene gasket, positive-locking bar and hand wheel. Specimen capacity is approximately 25% of total jar volume. Grinding Jars use either Burundum or Zirconia Grinding Media, and are required for use with Jar Mills.
Roalox offers significantly extended wear life over porcelain as well as reduced silica contamination levels.
