Reusable Hook-Type Spindle, SC4-29
Reusable SC4 Spindles and Measuring Chamber are specifically designed for asphalt binder testing with the Rotational Viscometer, meeting ASTM D4402 and AASHTO T 316 standards. With various sizes and shapes available, these spindles can measure a wide range of viscosities and binder characteristics. Made from durable 316 stainless steel with a magnetic coupling, each spindle is built for precision and performance. The Rotational Viscometer’s Toolmaster™ technology automatically identifies Anton Paar spindles, ensuring accurate spindle selection and fully traceable results.
Multiple spindle shaft options are available to suit different testing needs, including hook-type, one-part solid shaft, two-part solid shaft, and disposable options. Hook-type shafts are ideal for testing modified binders with medium to high temperatures and low viscosity, while solid shafts are preferred for unmodified binders with higher viscosity.
The Reusable Stainless Steel Measuring Chamber is compatible with all reusable spindles and is sold separately. For added convenience, a Disposable Spindle and Measuring Chamber is also available.
