Quincy Lab 40GCE Gravity Convection Lab Oven, 3.0CF, Digital, 232C/450F
These cabinets are light gray in color and have a hard, scratch resistant hammer finish. They are as pretty as they are tough. High impact thermoplastic handles are attached to the doors and the entire unit is heavy steel double wall construction. The interior work space is insulated from the outer cabinet with 1” of high density mineral wool and the interiors are paneled with corrosion resistant aluminized steel. The Quincy Lab 40GCE is a general lab oven for drying, baking and testing of materials.
The GCE series has a digital control system. Full PID microprocessor for easy temperature setting and stability to within ± 0.5°C (1°F) even in varying ambient temperature or power supply conditions. This confirms stability or indicates control malfunction or power loss during the process period. Large LED’s display the set temperature and process temperature and has a setting lock mode to prevent accidental or unintended temperature changes. Compared to mechanical convection ovens the Quincy Lab 40GCE has precise temperature control and faster heating times.
The heating elements are energy efficient, low watt density and incoloy sheathed and are designed for quick run up and recovery times. The temperature uniformity is improved by a perforated heat shield which absorbs radiant heat and distributes it more evenly throughout the product chamber. The Quincy Lab 40GCE has temperature uniformity without forced air flow so it’s ideal for applications where air flow could disrupt the process.
The GCE series is designed for the laboratory needs of industrial, research and school organizations. Each oven is well built and versatile, they can be used for party drying, baking, curing, sterilizing all the way to evaporating, heat treating, annealing and testing. Gravity convection ovens are great for gentle heating processes.
18 month full manufacturers warranty. Better than Shel Lab.
