The Hanna Instruments HI93102 Portable Multiparameter Turbidity and Ion Specific Meter is an exceptional instrument that can measure multiple parameters in one unit. It combines accuracy, ease of use, and portability in a single, ergonomic design. The instrument can measure turbidity, free and total chlorine, cyanuric acid, pH, iodine, bromine, and low-range iron, making it an all-in-one solution for water quality testing.
Using AMCO-AEPA-1 standards, a user can calibrate the instrument to measure turbidity before determining free chlorine, total chlorine, cyanuric acid, pH, iodine, bromine, and low-range iron using ready-to-use reagents. With the EPA-compliant turbidity method custom calibration points and logging mode, data are reliable and consistent.
The HI93102 has an NTU range of 0.00 to 50.0 NTU*, with an accuracy of ±0.5 NTU* or ±5% (whichever is greater), and resolutions of 0.01 and 0.1 NTU*. It also has a free chlorine range of 0.00 to 2.50 mg/L, with an accuracy of ±0.03 mg/L; ±3%, and a total chlorine range of 0.00 to 3.50 mg/L, with an accuracy of ±0.03 mg/L; ±3%. The bromine range is 0.00 to 8.00 mg/L, with an accuracy of ±0.08 mg/L; ±3%. The CYS range is 0 to 80 mg/L, with an accuracy of ±1 mg/L; ±15%. The iodine range is 0.0 to 12.5 mg/L, with an accuracy of ±0.1 mg/L; ±5%, while the low-range iron range is 0.00 to 1.00 mg/L, with an accuracy of ±0.02 mg/L; ±3% and a resolution of 0.01 mg/L. The pH range is 5.9 to 8.5, with an accuracy of 0.1 pH and a resolution of 0.1.
The instrument is equipped with two silicon photocells and a pure green LED light source. The lamp life is the same as the instrument's life, and it has a selectable auto shut-off feature after 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 or 60 minutes of non-use. It runs on four 1.5V AA alkaline batteries and has a battery life of 60 hours or 1000 measurements. The instrument weighs 510 g (1.1 lb.) and has dimensions of 220 x 82 x 66 mm (8.7 x 3.2 x 2.6").
The HI93102 comes with a two-year warranty, making it a reliable and cost-effective solution for customers who need an all-in-one instrument for water quality testing.
