LC-4.5 Voltmeter – Easy-to-Read Digital Corrosion Tester for Field Use
The LC-4.5 Voltmeter is a versatile, hand-held device designed specifically for corrosion and cathodic protection testing on underground systems.
Built for field use, it performs reliably in nearly any environmental condition thanks to its rugged design, including sealed Mil-Spec switches, sealed windows, a gasketed case, and a printed circuit board with a baked-on moisture and fungus-resistant coating.
Featuring large 0.5-inch display characters, the LC-4.5 is easy to read in both bright and dim lighting. It operates efficiently across a wide temperature range with minimal battery usage.
This voltmeter is ideal for applications such as potential surveys, side-drain measurements, surface potential surveys, IR drop measurements, rectifier AC/DC circuit tests, stray or hazardous AC potential detection, and galvanic anode checks. For DC current measurements (0-20 Amps), an optional plug-in shunt is required.
A selectable input resistance feature enables users to detect high resistance in external circuits and reduce errors. The push-to-hold-reading button allows users to freeze readings, making it suitable for variable stray current environments, instant-off tests, and coordinated testing.
The LC-4.5 Voltmeter comes with a protective leather carrying case and includes two 6-foot test leads (one red, one black) with 40 A test clips for added convenience.
