The Hanna Instruments HI5521-01 Laboratory Research Grade Benchtop pH/mV and EC/TDS/Salinity/Resistivity Meter is the ultimate customizable and feature-rich meter for professionals in the research industry. This lab-grade meter is complete with a wide range of specifications and capabilities. The meter includes automatic calibration and five-point calibration with eight standard buffers and the option for five custom buffers. It also features automatic or manual temperature compensation from -20.0 to 120.0 °C and a range of EC, TDS, and salinity measurements. The temperature correction coefficient can be set from 0.00 to 10.00 %/°C.
The pH electrode included with the HI5521 is a glass body HI1131B with a BNC connector and 1 m cable. The EC/TDS probe is a HI76312 platinum, four-ring probe with a 1 m cable, and the temperature probe is a HI7662-T stainless steel probe with a 1 m cable.
The meter is designed for durability and efficacy, with a power supply of a 12 VDC adapter and an environment of 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F). The dimensions of the meter are 160 x 231 x 94 mm (6.3 x 9.1 x 3.7"), and it weighs 1.2 kg (2.64 lbs.). The HI5521 is configured to comply with USP requirements and comes with a 2-year warranty.
