6in Soil Density Mold Sets are designed for Proctor Compaction tests to determine the soil moisture-density relationship. These molds are compatible with soil compaction hammers and Mechanical Soil Compactors. Each set includes a mold body, detachable extension collar, and base plate. The molds feature a 6in (152mm) nominal diameter, a height of 4.584in (116.4mm), and a total volume of 0.075ft³ (2,124cm³). Constructed from durable, clear-zinc plated steel, they resist rust and wear. Components such as the body, base plate, and collar are also available for individual purchase.

Mold bodies are available in two types: split or solid. Split molds open slightly when clamps are released, allowing for easy removal of compacted soil specimens. Solid molds are compatible with sample ejectors for seamless operation.
