Gas Vapor Probe Kit with Tips, Retract-A-Tip, Rotary Hammer Drill

Gas Vapor Probe (GVP) Kits are ideal for investigating hydrocarbon spills, underground storage tank leaks, pipeline issues, landfill contamination, and other environmental concerns. These kits use a slide hammer or an electric rotary hammer drill, along with GVP extensions, to drive stainless steel GVP tips to the desired sampling depth. Before inserting the tips, ensure the Fluoropolymer tubing is securely connected to the barbed fitting for easy sampling.

We offer two types of GVP tips designed for use with our GVP Kits:

• GVP Dedicated Tips: These are permanent, disposable sampling points, perfect for assessing hydrocarbon spills, storage tank and pipe leaks, landfill contamination, and hazardous waste.

• GVP Retract-A-Tips: These reusable tips are inserted into the soil and opened for sample collection. Their design minimizes equilibrium time between installation and sampling. Retract-A-Tips are easy to decontaminate and can be reused for multiple sampling points. They are also suitable for shallow groundwater sampling.
