Gas Vapor Probe (GVP) Kits are an essential tool for addressing environmental concerns such as hydrocarbon spills, underground storage tank leaks, landfill contamination, and more. These kits use a slide hammer or an electric rotary hammer drill, paired with GVP extensions, to insert stainless steel GVP tips into the desired sampling location. Before driving the GVP tips, ensure the Fluoropolymer tubing is securely connected to the barbed fitting for easy sampling.

We offer two types of GVP tips for our kits: GVP Dedicated Tips and GVP Retract-A-Tips.

• GVP Dedicated Tips are designed as permanent, disposable sampling points, ideal for investigating spills, leaks, contamination, and hazardous waste.

• GVP Retract-A-Tips are inserted into the soil and opened for sample collection. Their design minimizes equilibrium time between installation and sampling. These tips can be decontaminated and reused, making them cost-effective and suitable for shallow groundwater sampling.
